Honen-in temple

Very nice place this Ginkaku-ji area of the city. Lots to see and you can't hear the traffic there even it's close. Found my way to Honen-in temple and a cemetery right next to it. It would be an understatement just to call these places beautiful or peaceful. There is something in the air. There's something in the air in whole Japan but in these kind of sites especially. It's that something that made those people hundreds of years ago to establish these places just to these coordinates. And you can feel it now. It's some kind of freshness that you can relate to, the timeless ground you walk on and the air you breathe. So it's not just the age that makes an impression, but the things that were there before it became old.
