Kyoto station II (Kyoto XCIV)

The land arteries shoot thousands of people to wander through this cave in one big wave. Most of them get through, some get stuck and can't find their way out. Those stop and swirl in the corners some hours before joining back to the stream that swoops them back to their homes, into the small pockets of the vast concrete reef.

I keep wondering what kind of person I would become if I ever got used to this. But then again, it's hard to imagine myself going back to where I came from. In that way the station symbolizes the state of being I got used to during my stay here. The state of slowly passing through this city, swirling in the random concrete corners, growing into a new shape without roots.
